When Lorelei Penny receives the foreclosure notice from the bank, she knows she’s going to have to cash in all her chips to save her beloved bed and breakfast. To make matters worse, Lorelei ends up in a confrontation with the local health inspector in front of the whole town of Shady Grove. Of course, Veronica Sibley appears to be completely innocent, so when she’s found dead at the Full Moon Inn after a follow-up inspection, Lorelei becomes the prime suspect.
Lorelei is a muffin short of a dozen when it comes to an alibi, and even her best friend Sheriff Rhys Cotton doesn’t believe her.
