A visitor from Zoey's past has returned. Will this cloud her judgement when a murder takes place at Zoey's first Witch's Conference?
By her 30th birthday, Zoey Foster thought she was too old to become a witch. She thought wrong.
To learn about her new powers, she will need the help of her familiar, Bart, who for unknown reasons has taken on the form of a cat only she can see.
After the shock of seeing someone from her past, Zoey learns that she has been invited to the 327th Annual Witch’s Conference.
Excited to learn and meet other witches, Zoey gets a little not-so-friendly sample at Foster's Market. Resolved to go anyway, Zoey arrives at the conference, which is being held in the nearby vampire town of Crestwood. Showing up late and being the most inexperienced witch there, Zoey struggles to turn things around.
Right when she makes a couple of friends, things go from bad to worse when an attendee is found dead.
Will Zoey be able to find out the murder method? With over a dozen suspects, can she find out the murderer before the conference is over? Will Zoey's family member get along with Drake over dinner?
